How much is the ticket?

Access to the Natural Park is free and is open all time.

What are the opening hours of the Torcal Alto Visitor Center?

From the last week of October to the last weekend of March: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
From the last week of March until the last weekend of October: from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Do I need any type of permission for any Torcal’s route?

The Natural Reserve has 3 paths in which you do not need any type of permit: Green Route,

Yellow Route, Orange Route. These hiking trails are free access and are signposted.

Can I go to Torcal with a pushchair or wheelchair?

The Natural Reserve has 2 shorts “accessible paths”: the “Mirador de las Ventanillas” trail (100 meters) and the “Tornillo Natural Monument” (400 meters)

The other trails are not possible because of the rocky and irregular terrain.
If you need it, you can rent baby backpacks at the Visitors Center.

Are dogs or other pets welcome?

According to the regulation, all pets must be tied.

You want to do a guided route in the Torcal, what do you have to do?

The Visitors Center has a wide variety of activities specialized in themes such as: the Ammonite Route, the Karstic Labyrinth… All with a different duration and rates. Choose your option to make the most of the experience.

Can I drive my car until the Torcal Alto Visitor Center?

The access of private vehicles to the Nature Reserve is limited to the capacity of superior parking, located next to the “Visitor Center“. When it is complete, the access to private vehicles is closed, in which case the vehicles should be parked in the lower parking next to the A-7075. More information.

I don’t have a car, how can I get to the Torcal de Antequera?

There is still no public transport to the Torcal, so if you do not have your own car or rental, you can choose any of these options to visit us:

  • Rent a taxi in Antequera. They offer different rates and packages.
  • Book a guided tour with transport includes. On this website you will find a complete guided tour for Antequera (Dolmens, Castle…) and El Torcal with transport and lunch includes.

Is climbing allowed in the Torcal de Antequera?

The sport of climbing is regulated according to specific regulations.

Can I spend the night with my caravan?

As indicated in the new Natural Resources Management Plan, it is forbidden “overnight parking for caravans and similar vehicles from sunset to sunrise.”
