Rates

The rates for the guided tour for groups to Torcal de Antequera are:

VAT is included in the rate, as well as civil liability insurance for active tourism activities and specialized guides in the Torcal de Antequera Natural Area.

Schedule of the guided tour of the Torcal de Antequera

The visit schedule is adapted to each group, depending on the time of year and the time available. In the months of autumn to winter, it is recommended to take the guided tour in the morning, taking advantage of the hours of sunshine. But already well into the spring and summer months, this visit can be done at dusk, enjoying the beautiful sunsets of Torcal de Antequera.

Hiking route on foot through the Torcal de Antequera

Although this visit is adapted to the group, if participants have sufficient time and physical capacity, they will take the Ammonite Route or a very similar route:

  • Length (approx.): 4.50km
  • Duration (approx.): 3 hours with interpretive stops
  • Difficulty: low-medium (very rocky and irregular terrain, it is advisable to use mountain boots or similar footwear)
  • The guide will make various stops to interpret the landscape: panoramic views of the nearby environment (Sierra Nevada, Malaga Bay, Sierra de las Nieves, etc.), traces of marine fossils of Ammonites and Belemnites, remains of human settlements, karst formations, biodiversity native, etc.

If the group is made up of older people, with less mobility, or does not have as much time, the walking tour will be adapted to the needs of the participants, and will be complemented by the guided tour of the Torcal Alto Visitor Center (museum and audiovisual).
